wellboard is made of 100% wood pulp, hotpressed to corrugated boards without the admixture of adhesives.

storage
store wellboard upright - in original packaging or in open condition - in dry rooms. protect untreated wellboard from humidity.

preparation
before cutting to size, store wellboard for 1-2 days at room temperature

cut to size

with a circular saw or a band saw
with a trapezoid saw blade up to 450 mm in a diameter,
cutting speed, 3300 to 3900 m/min. saw blade to protrude
only about 5 mm above the board, use hardwood tableto.

with a band saw
cutting speed, 1500 to 1800 m/min, use saw blade with 4
saw teeth per 1".

with a compass saw
wood saw blade, metal saw blade or special saw blade
without saw teeth.

planing
with a hand held or carpenter plane or planer at a 10° angle.

grinding
with a band- or cylinder grinding machine.

drilling
with a twist drill to max. 15 mm in diameter, pilot drill prior to drilling larger diameters

gluing
with wood glue without applying heat.
 

coat

impregnation
only with approved impregnations in keeping with fire prevention rules. treatment of surface like hard wood.

glazing
using hard oils, glaze, stain.

covering
with commercially available colours, water-bound colours result in
a better finish, because of their higher degree of covering.
